oh, without XTEST extension you wont be able to use powerfull xwem kbd
macros stuff.  Without RECORD extension you wont be able interactively
record xwem kbd macros.  I'm not sure why you get those error messages
every time you press xwem keys. It migth be some xwem version which
requires XTEST and RECORD even for all keyboarding stuff not only macros.
