Discovered this by accident, but it could be cool for the geeks...
1) M-x xwem-time RET
2) M-: (setq xwem-time-format '(time)) RET
3) H-a x
4) (in that xterm) su -c 'date -s "$timestring"' RET
$timestring should be the current time in another timezone
5) H-M-x xwem-time RET
6) goto step 4, repeat for as many timezones as you want to display.
