random lock ups

...I've been getting random lock ups.  Most times I have been able to
get out of it with a few zillion H-g and H-G.  But the one I just had,
nothing apart from C-M-BS responded.

I can't pin it down to anything in particular.  So far, it has always
happened when there was a SXEmacs frame in focus (but for me, a
focused SXEmacs frame accounts for 99.9% of the time spent in X).

Evgeny, I'm not real sure how to debug this.  Tell me what you'd like
to see and I'll do my best to provide it.  BTW, I have tried switching
to another console and going in with gnuclient... it is just as
unresponsive as the main SXEmacs. :-(
