restart... boom!
I even managed to get a screenshot (don't ask how I did it)...

Evgeny, I tried your suggestion of moving my old frames-config-save
file out of the way and explicitly loading it with:
(xwem-restore-frames-config "file")
That actually worked pretty well. But it performed as if frame 0 did
not exist. Let me explain. My frames config consists of 3 frames,
when I eval'd the `xwem-restore-frames-config' thing, I had 4 frames.
Basically it ignored the fact that the first frame was already
there. :-)
So the next thing I tried was to remove the stuff in my xwemrc.el that
saved/loaded my frames config and replaced it with:
(xwem-restore-frames-config "/path/to/frames-conf.el")
And that produced an error on the next restart...

Maybe that's important? I dunno.
As to the strange behaviour of H-x 5 5... it does indeed go away if I
run a virgin XWEM (ie no ~/.xwem/xwemrc.el). So it _must_ be
something in my config. Evgeny, could you please take a look...
